Repair Service Terms & Warranty Policy

Thank you for choosing ShopTech Electronics & Engineering.

This policy applies to all repair and maintenance services provided by ShopTech. By submitting a device or equipment for repair, the customer agrees to the terms and conditions below.

1. Service Warranty

ShopTech provides a 7-day service warranty on all repair services unless otherwise stated on the invoice or service receipt.

The warranty period starts from the date the repaired device is delivered to the customer.

2. What the Warranty Covers

The warranty covers only the same fault that was repaired by ShopTech during the warranty period.

If the same repair issue reoccurs within 7 days, ShopTech will inspect the device and, if covered under warranty, perform the necessary repair without additional service charges.

3. What the Warranty Does Not Cover

The warranty does not cover:

  • Physical damage, impact, or accidental damage.
  • Liquid or moisture damage.
  • Fire, lightning, power surge, or electrical fluctuation.
  • Damage caused by improper use or negligence.
  • Customer tampering or unauthorized repair after delivery.
  • Damage caused by insects, rodents, or natural disasters.
  • Software issues, viruses, or user-installed applications unless specifically repaired by ShopTech.
  • Any new fault that is different from the original repaired issue.
  • Consumable parts unless specifically mentioned on the invoice.

4. Warranty Claim Procedure

To request warranty service, customers must:

  • Bring the repaired device to the ShopTech service center.
  • Present the original invoice or service receipt.
  • Allow our technicians sufficient time to inspect the device.

Warranty service is subject to technical inspection and verification.

5. Service Charges

Repair charges are for the repair work performed and are non-refundable once the repair has been completed and the device has been delivered.

If additional faults are found during inspection, the customer will be informed before any additional work is carried out.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Backing up all personal or business data before submitting any device for repair.
  • Removing passwords, screen locks, or activation locks when required for testing.
  • Collecting the repaired device within a reasonable period after notification.

ShopTech is not responsible for loss of data during diagnosis or repair.

7. Parts Replacement

Replacement parts may be:

  • Original (OEM),
  • Genuine compatible, or
  • Equivalent replacement parts,

depending on product availability and customer approval.

Any separate warranty for replaced parts will be mentioned on the invoice, if applicable.

8. Limitation of Liability

ShopTech shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of data or software.
  • Loss of business or income.
  • Indirect or consequential damages.
  • Existing defects not related to the requested repair.

Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the repair service.
